Bookworm Buddies were created to sit on children’s shoulders so that they have someone to read out loud to. Reading out loud improves childrens’ reading comprehension and fluency skills and it’s always more fun to read with a friend.

Creating Bookworm Buddies is a simple, fun volunteer project that can be done at home or at the office.

We are always in need of Buddies for our Reading Resource Centers, book distributions, and community partners!
