Books-to-Go requests are on a first come first serve basis. If Books-to-Go is full for the day/week you’re requesting, then please let our team know if you’d like to be placed on our waiting list.

Quality Assurance: Volunteers and group leaders play a crucial role in upholding Promising Pages’ commitment to delivering quality books to local children. They are entrusted with the responsibility of meticulously following the guidelines provided in the Cleaning Kit’s ‘How to Clean and Process Books’ guide to ensure our books meet the highest standards before reaching young readers.

Supervision of Young Volunteers: We love giving young people the opportunity to serve, but we ask that adults actively oversee and engage with volunteers under the age of 16 to ensure that all books are processed according to our guidelines.

Overall Event Responsibility: Group leaders play a pivotal role in overseeing Books-to-Go events, including book cleaning and kit return. They are responsible for coordinating volunteers, ensuring tasks are completed correctly, and overseeing the return of all cleaned books and cleaning kits to the warehouse at the event’s conclusion.
