Anthony is our newest team member here at Promising Pages. Anthony graduated from UNCC with a BA in English concentrating on Language and Digital Technologies and an MA in Applied Linguistics. Following graduation, Anthony began a journey within the public education system, working as an educator across elementary and middle school grade levels and discovered a passion for spreading a love of learning and literacy to students through the power of reading. During this time they also got involved with other non-profit organizations throughout Charlotte and decided that this sector was where they wanted to plant their roots. Discovering Promising Pages and its mission really spoke to Anthony and following a gut feeling, they left education to pursue their dream of spreading joy through reading to students throughout the Charlotte Area Book Desert. In their free time Anthony enjoys spending time with their loved ones, listening to live music, and reading as many books as possible.
