Julianna Peres

Julianna joined Promising Pages in April 2026. She is a first-generation American who holds undergraduate degrees in Japanese and Religious studies, and graduate degrees in Linguistics and Gender Studies. Having taught as both a college professor and a high school teacher, she understands the very real and dire need for literacy to improve in the United States. When she’s not processing books in the warehouse, she enjoys crocheting, watching horror movies, baking, roller skating, practicing aerial yoga, and spending time with her wife and cats.
